Has any one heard of the Rena BioCube50??
I bought it from Pets At Home in Farnham a year ago and now they don't sell it any more.
Does anyone why its gone?? (Discontinued ETC)
Should i use the Crystals with the tank??
How many fish do you recommend i put in the tank??
Should i get a Moonlight and which one??

At the moment i have
6x Zebra Danios
5x Black Phantom Tetra
1x Honey Gourami
and finally
6x Aglae Shirmp

Tomorrow i hope to get
another Honey Gourami
and 3x Panda Corydoras

Geez!! Sam.... Never heard of it and unless you give us a pic, won't be able to make a positive contribution..............

Since it's already a goldfish option I'd say stick to it & don't add tropicals...... If you intend removing the goldfish for tropicals..... no more than 1 x pair of Moonlights with max 2 cory's......

Ok thanks i have a heater and already tropical fish in it.
Rena recommended only goldfish but i chose against them and its done a year so far and still brill.

OK sorry ... my mistake.... The photo only shows a coupla goldfish, but obviously that's not your current setup......With the listed "what you've got, and what you intend,.... I'd suggest do not add the additional Moonlights intended.... your tank does not look big enough to contain them all...

no its ok
thank you for your help
Sam

yeah think ts a 50ltr
ok thanks for advice

*Edited after research*

It is a 43 ltr Portuguese made tank with a cartridge filtration system in the canopy.

Not suitable for Goldfish dispite the picture.

Not big enough nor the right shape for the very active Danios.

i have had the Danio's for about 2 months and there fine, they eat alot lol

thanks

nice! i like the gravel/big rock mix. a nice piece of driftwood standing tall in the back middle would complete it

Hi again.

Tank looks pretty cool :good:
I see cory, although they prefer sand I'm thinking that your gravel looks like the smooth variety? If so they should be fine.
I mentioned before that, IMO, your sized and shaped tank is not suitable for the very lively Danios. I say this because as it grows it will seem to dash all over the place due to not having enough 'leg room' (or should that be fin room!) A small tank should be a peaceful enviroment, Danios get super-active

Anyway, just trying to be constructive.......nice job otherwise
