Have you got some reasonable bulbs in there to help plant growth?

Just been looking at your stocking - the golden algae eaters might prove problematic as they grow. They may well be Chinese Algae Eaters which are often quite viscous as they get bigger.

As far as plecs go, what about a bristlenose or two, they are quite cheap, good characters and will clean up any minor algae issues you may have.

31 quid is, had a smile on my face for weeks Yes i am well impressed with Greenline. The packaging was excellent and the plants were in really good condition. No sign of any snails (hurrah!) Away from home so don't have bulb details at the moment but went with 2 recommended by an LFS with a lovely planted tank so hopefully ok. I am a little concerned that as they spread this will not be enough, concensus seems to be that Juwels need more light units but I'll see how it goes.

Algae eater wise I will see what happens, always potential for another tank! Bristlenoses look like a nice option, having looked at Zebra prices, they are lovely but so expensive!
