very nice looking tank how many gallons?

it is a 29 gal. tank.

Fish in the tank are:

10 neon tetras
2 guppies
4 platys
4 sarpea tetras
2 kissing guoramis
5 cory cats

3 platy fry and so far as i can see 3 guppy fry

i think it looks alrite but personally if it was my tank i wouldnt use a coloured gravel.


i have a thing for natural looking tanks tho.

I agree looks good but the gravel is a bit much i like the natural look to, but hey its your tank if you like it stuff what the rest of us think

We might be changing the gravel in the future. we have 4 kids in the house, 11,5,4 and 2, they dictated some of the decisions on the tank.

I think its a beautiful tank, I usually go for the natural look as well, but I must say you have one nice looking tank. Are the plants in there live? they look fantastic.

The only plants that are live are the java ferns on the bog wood and the small amazon sword in the right rear of the tank. Im not sure what the stuff floating is called but it is also live. The rest is all fake stuff.

man how do u make your tanks look bigger i look at your and then glance at myn WOAH urs looks like a 55g
the magic of photography maybe?

The only thing that i can think of that might have made it look bigger is that i took the photo and then edited it so that only the tank itself was in the picture. Other than that, i have no idea.

The red gravel makes it look like there's lava in the tank. You could call it Pompei.

Very cute, it's nice to involve everybody in the decision making process. You are very nice. My family has NO say in tank decor!
