...well decided whilst doing a water change on my fish to re-arrange the tank. Please excuse the rubbish camera phone pics. This is what I came up with:

I plan on adding in another green 'plant' infront of the filter next to the tree thing to fill that gap and hide the filter :)

Any comments and advice very welcome :good:

Nice, I really like the rocks you used. The tree root thing is cool too; is it artificial or real?

Its artificial unfortunately, but didnt want to use real things for now :)

Ive been thinking over the past few days, in the the begginning I think I may have been abit too generous with the substrate, its pretty thick in places

Ok been sitting here staring at it and thought it needed a more simple background, so have now switched it round to a rock backing, think it looks much better :D

Also played about with the 'white balance' and the picture came out much better, still needs tweaking.

Anyway the most recent pic of my tank :)

Very nice, but maybe consider splitting the tank into 3 thirds by adding some bigger rocks maybe, then having the tree root centrally?

Good work though.

im amazed at how juwel, have suddenly 'clicked' onto higher lighting, that lighting in your tank looks quite intense, unless you have modded it? i like it, although blue isnt really my thing, but it looks nice and is very aesthetically appealing.

keep up the good work

Just re-modelled the tank slightly again argh it gets addictive when your in the process of doing daily water changes

The bulb is off of my other 54 litre tank ive got as the other tank doesnt need a light right now, however the bulb itself is just a standard bulb that came with my other tank. It is quite bright :)

On the bulb itself it has: Narva LT 15W/760-010 Daylight

Not sure if thats any good or not, dont really know much about lighting on aquariums right now to be honest

Update:

Another day, another tweak, I really need to stop  Anyway I added some more stones and created a little cave type thing for them to rest or hide in, they seem to love it, darting in and out of the rocks and hiding places :D
