Just a quick Question. It is ok to have my Tank Heater completely Submerged in the tank right? It is a Visi-Temp 150 Watt Heater for my 55 gallon, It says its waterproof I'm just so use to mounting in on the side like in my ten gallon tanks. I submerged it and the fish seem to wonder what the hell it is now but it seems to be doing fine. If not let me know. Thanks Guys.

Yep, it's fine, and much safer as your less likely to let the water level drop and shatter it (as I have done in the past ) :)

Yeah, I've never been able to get used to seeing that either as they all used to hang over the side. I think -most-, the great majority of them now are totally submersible. Are you sure you don't mean its a Visi-Therm? If so, those are totally submersible. Plus it should say so in the instructions or they should have online documentation.

Thanks. Yeah its just hard to get use to something plugged in puttin under water haha. yes visi-therm it was like $32 or something. Its nice. My fish look at the wire now like what the hell is this haha.

My 55 gallon looks ok I guess I need a background though which I have coming in the mail. I also wanna go with a more natural look in it too but I'm new to having a big tank I have 3 ten gallons around the house not use to such a big tank.

Thanks for your help once again guys.

Love this site haha
