My Tank - Advice Wanted

Here is my tank so far nothing special, Please give me some advice on how to improve and what you think of it so far.

More wood, stones/rocks and a black background is where i'd personally start.
That looks like an iridescent shark also, will need something like a 15ft long tank?

The plec and the the shark actually have news homes lined up (girlfriends dad) im currently raising them But we did get told it was a blue shark and grow to about 10inch

that's a pangasius cat alright - 3'-4' tank buster. Only suitable for public aquaria or rivers, frankly. Lord only knows why some LFS still sell these!

plec is a common - 1'-2' on the cards for that one. Hope your Father has a big tank.

tank looks like it's on its way to being a nice tank but it all looks a little man made, as you have every looking over organised (if that makes sense) what i mean is everything seems to be equal distance apart, such as plants on the left and right and middle piece of wood, mess it up a little and it will look far better. also i would probably do the decent thing and complain to the shop that sold you that fish and put the little tike in a bowl of ice cold water.
