its supposed to be good but im jsut a little worried about the uv going off im also bought diffrent food to uildd them a better immune system i am still looking for other remdies but thats it for now

I have a powder brown tang that had the same problem. I just fed a little often, and a variety (frozen brine, frosen krill, pellets, and flakes). I also use garlic guard every time I feed. When I make up the frozen food, I usally make a three day supply. I let it thaw with the garlic guard on it and let is sit for about an hour so it soaks into the food. Then I add water with a turkey baster then feed them. It just seems cleaner and simpler. Also, do you have a sump? If so, using calupra will help fight aginst ich. In the past I have tried using reef safe products and fresh water bath, I feel they just strees the fish out more, and your supposed to turn off your uv lights and protien skimmers. If you are planning on adding more fish, like a cleaner wrasse, make sure you add them at night. When you add them during the day, its right in front of the sick fish and it may stress them out even more. So I always wait till everyone has gone to bed and I keep the room and tank dark.

Hope this helps!

its still going the same coming and going
if you see in my other topic uv or treatment it will keep u updated also
i am feeding mysis shirmp flakes and brine shirmp -frozen food used with garlic guard what other food shall i try

cheers lee

Have you tried this: chopping up a clove (or two small ones) of fresh garlic, then putting this into a small cup of aquarium water with a block of frozen brine shrimp, letting the shrimp defrost and letting the garlic mix in with the water? Give it a stir before letting it sit for a few minutes before feeding. I pour the whole lot into the tank, and my tang is even eating bits of garlic!

i've used kick-ich and it works until u stop using it. then they come right back. my tank and fish have been ich free since i quarantined and actaully killed the parasites. i thkni copper is the only other proven method.
