My shrimp jest shed!

Woohoo, i'm so happy
I was hoping they were doing good and this morning, i just found it's shell lying on the bottom. I picked it up and it was broken in half!

I gotta get more of these yamato shrimps, they're cool

I have 3 shrimp. 2 Amino (not shore if thats the right name of them.) and one red rock shrimp. They shed very often, i always leave them in, as I herd it good for them to re eat there shed.

Mine don't appear to eat their shed shells, as they are everywhere! How often do they shed? I keep finding them stuck on the filter intake, and I have a heart attack until I realise that there isn't a shrimp inside the shell!!

I think I remembe reading somewhere that they shed a lot while they are small, and then it gets less as they get older.

Can't wait!

Only thing worse than finding a shrimp shell is finding an empty crab shell - I keep thinking my crabs have died until I count them all. At least a shrimp shell looks empty when you study it closely - the crab doesn't!
How do they get out of the shell without seeming to damage it at all?
