My Plecs

I love my plecs and have got a few at the moment, they are wonderful fish and very addictive I could spend a fortune on them

My newish Royal got him a few weeks back at my LFS hes about 9 inch long

My new L14 Ive been after one for ages and I got this one but its only a baby

I also got an L200 at the same time and this is tiny

my L114 who is my favourite a lovely fish

My L128 is a nice chunky fish about 6 inch long

My vampire plec can never remember the L no L029 I think?

I have 5 baby Royal Sturisomas Ive had a few months who are growing well and will hopefully produce a pair at some point

Stunning collection Simon. Tank maintenance must be horrible with that big panaque...... they have some huge ones at wharf but too expensive.

Hes a beaut I got him for £45 and I sold my 3 inch one for £15 the same week, next to his piece of wood is a constant mound of poo!!! easy enough to syphon up though and he is gorgeous

thats a great price mate. mine was about 6 inch and filled my tank with poo so he went im affraid. i do like panagues though and hes a beauty, good find.

the ones at wharf are about 12 inches+ but are about £250

are you keeping the L128 with the L200? if so will you let me know how they get on please?

they are together , the L128 I have had for about 18 months and is about 6 inch hes very territorial with the L14 thats very active , the L200 is probably 1.5 inch and ive never seen him near the L128 yet

ive heard mixed feedback on keeping them together which is why i got all L200's but ive seen some great L128's recently

I kept them together a few years back in my 5ft and they were fine I would imagine like most plecs there may be some territory issues but they usually pic a corner of the tank
