Okeydokey, here's my jungle, pic taken yesterday evening.
It's a bit "wildish" and far for from finished but stuff happens :p

I've seriously started considering changing some of the fastest growing plants, this is what happens in a week if not constantly pruned, the Ludwigia repens and Limnophila sessiflora get totally out of hand:

And finally, a pic of the Hygrophila difformis which has totally gotten out of hand, growing several cm a day, yesterday it actually already hit the fluorescent tube, so I had to shove it down a bit :p

Nice looking tank mate. I know what you mean about the Limnophila sessiflora, I was pruning mine almost every day so I switched to Cabomba caroliniana which I find grows slower and gives a denser appearance. Is that Sagittaria sp. in the foreground?

What light/co2/ferts are you using?

Hi, that is one HUGE and very beautiful tank! :D What fish are you intending to keep?

Thanks :)
The tank's got 2 x 30W fluorescent tubes (0,42w/l / 1.62wpg) and a DIY fermentation based CO2 system. Currently I'm not using liquid fertilisers at all, only clay-peat balls and "powersand" below the substrate.
At the moment, everything is growing good and the whole system is fairly balanced, but if I intend to to switch to some more demanding plants in the future, I'll probably have to add light and more CO2 and probably start adding liquid fertiliser too.

The plant on the foreground was sold to me as Sagittaria teres but it is in fact the regular Sagittaria subulata or a hybrid of these two, since if it was the real teres it should've remained a lot smaller.

Awesome tank Justin.... :kewlpics: Just wonderin what kinda fish do you have in there......

Lol, the sag doesn't seem to stand a chance.

Too bad you've got so much trimming to undertake-- difformis is such a beautiful plant. You've got some beautiful growth though, and the ludwigia repens is coming out especially nice. :D

For me, if it is a stem plant that is not micranthemum micranthemoides, we don't get along. :X

Anyway, I know how you feel-- all the prunning those stem plants needs always overwhelms me, I get lazy and toss 'em in buckets . . . off to get some store credit!
