Hey Guys

@ My New House, we live next to the Overflow stream from a Large Pond.
So we have noticed alot of insects and Flies.
I though it would be very cool to have a Carnivorous Plant.
So while in Northampton Last Weekend i got a Nice Large Pitcher Plant from Wyevale.
I have used Marbles that match the plant and Room as a Mulch to conserve water evaprotaion from the soil.
I have seen 3 flies in it so Far.

Looks Very Funky

Funky Smaller Plant with a Runner.

I like the Marbles

Very carnivorous looking - it's like a triffid :p Seriously, that plants looks fab!!

Nice CP's.
I have been growing many different kinds now for a few years.
Looks like you have 2 Sarracenia and 1 Nepenthes (Funky Smaller Plant with a Runner). I would remove the Nepenthes and pot it up itself. The Sarracenia like it much wetter then the Nepenthes and require a dormancy period which the Nepenthes does not.
I hope you are using rainwater, distilled or reverse osmosis water. Tap water has many chemicals in it which will burn the plants roots and kill it.
I also hope you did not use regular potting soil. Most potting soil has fertilizers in it which will also kill the plants. Most CP's do well with equal parts peatmoss, long fiber sphagnum, perlite, and sand.

I have a site here with info:

Here is a lot of good info here:

Good luck with your plants.

Here's a picture of my Nepenthes ventrata:

Thanks Elgecko.
I thought it was you who had the CP's, but it would nto find your posts in the search option :dunno:

Thanks for the Tips.
WOWOWOWOWOWO Yours Look Amazing.
I am not sure what they are potted in, just in whatever the Garden Centre Used.
I will Seperate the 1 with a Runner - Yours is Fab.
I am Using Water from my Tanks to feed them with.
From Experince with Dads banana Palm. Tropical fish Water does wonders for any Plant. Its Like Crack for a Plant :alien:
We have Even Got another 2 Palms Growing in the Banana Palms Pot and some Passion Fruit that Dad Planted have Germinated and sent up Shoots.

I have found out Today my Tap Water is Very High In Chemicals. So Won't be Using That.
