My Ph Has Dropped..

The Ph from my tap is around the 7ish mark but when it is added to my tank after a few days it drops to 6 or maybe even lower!

I really don't have a clue on what happens or why...

Then i realised how will this be affecting my cycle [it was already cycled]? and what can i do if it is a problem?

I have a 10g tank in which teh PH has always been fine...

Assuming the 28g in your sig is the one where the pH is dropping, you look to be pretty fully stocked but not overstocked. Is there any reason to think it is actively cycling? Has it been established pretty long and has it had pretty normal stats (eg. 0 ammonia 0 nitrite(NO2), nitrate(NO3) only 5-20ppm above tap level?)

For your weekly water change are you able to do a pretty deep gravel clean while perhaps 50% of the water goes out? That would be pretty effective usually at keeping the nitrates down and perhaps having less downward push on the pH. Have you ever kept out a bucket of your tap water and checked pH daily on it for a week?
