My Orandas

Hi, I thought I'd share some pics of my orandas with you guys. I'm really proud of them so I thought I'd show them off They were both less than 2 inches when I first bought them last September. Now, one is 7 inches and they other is 6.5inches.

The red/orange one is called Bob and the black/orange one is called Kolosh.

They live in a 144 litre tank at the moment. I was supposed to upgrade their tank this summer but it hasn't happened yet. Hopefully I will get something soon. I have 2 external filters for their tank. One filter does 900 lph and the other does 700 lph. Everyday I change a bucket (15 litre bucket) of water unless I am extremely busy and feed them on a varied diet.

I love these guys and I really hope they stay with me for years to come.

Thanks, I also really like ryukins. I almost bought a calico ryukin a while ago but managed to stop myself since I didn't have enough space for it.

Thanks Fluttermoth I did first have them in a 60 litre for a few months and saw them grow very fast so I got a larger tank for them. They are still growing pretty fast so I'm planning to get them a bigger tank. Maybe a 250 litre.

Thanks MBOU, they definitely are healthy and happy fish. But they look bored most of the times even though I change things around their tank every now and then to make life more interesting for them. I'm not sure if it works for them but I'm sure they appreciate my attempts lol.

Thanks daniel93, it took about a year for them to grow to this size from around 2".

They are beautiful! I love my goldfish, they are only about 1/4 of the size of yours though

My 3 goldfish grow very slow. I have them in a 125gallon and they're about a year or a little older, and they're still not full size. It's normal. Goldfish grow very slllllllllllllllllllllooooooooooowwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwW.
