Hey all. I know how everyone says you should not put certain kinds of fish in with others, but here goes:

I have had a tank (29 gallons) for over a year now. I have the following fish living in it happily for over 6 months (No signs of stress, no nipping at fins, and not one fish has died in the past 6 months!)

1 Male betta
2 Black tetras
2 Ruby tailed sharks
3 Medium tiger barbs
1 albino catfish
1 plycosumous (lg) (not sure how to spell it)
1 rubber-lipped plyco
1 catfish (not sure what kind)

Now, all are happy and healthy as I've said.... but my tank is getting kinda boring for me. I've already changed everything init around...but I want more fish. My question is does anyone who has a tank like this with a lot of different types in it, have any ideas what kind of fishes I can get that wont "distrub the balance"?

And just so ya'll know, I'll be posting some pics too once I get my camera back from my sister....damn siblings! :p

I definately couldn't help ya, seeings how you've already defied all laws and theories by putting (only) 3 tiger barbs in with other fish, the betta being the most incredible mix, and have had no problems whatsoever.

I think tiger barbs are beautiful little fish and all my life tried to keep them with other fish and couldn't, even in larger schools. The only other fish I was able to keep them in with were african cichlids.

I really hate you right now!! :grr:

Kidding. ;)

Good luck with your new additions! :good:
