I had a small group of six tiny little guys and they are fun to watch but They'd nip at the Gourami feelers & then run away like little wussies getting lost in the crowd when the Gourami went to retaliate. When they started ganging up on the Corys they had to go

seen another nice shop i wanna go check out Bardills Garden Centre its just near beeston/chilwell i think. a guy on youtube uploaded like a mini tour of it. MASSSIVE selecetion of fish.


was guna go an look at there dwarf puffers(for my next tank project) once im fully stocked on this one. was thinking maybe either dwarf puffer species tank or maybe a cichlid tank

Thanks, I used Stoney River brand black sand & added black gravel to the mix, approx. 1/4 is gravel but most the gravel stays on top. I've been slowly taking out a bit of the gravel with each large water change. I like it though & having the gravel helps keep the plants planted. It looks more natural than just sand or just gravel.

im gutted! they have a huge variety of fish from what i can see. are there tanks horrible or just the place?

Unless it had DRASTICALLY improved in the last 2 months then you really don't want to be going anywhere near it. The 'dry goods' bit is decent, but the fish are shocking. There is usually at least 1 dead fish in every other tank. The tanks are filthy and it stinks. Prices are quite cheap, but it's what you might get with it that worries me. If you're travelling somewhere then make it Wharf. End of.
