That water is so clear and calm that it doesn't even look like water is in the tank. Are you sure those are ADF's and not ACF's (african clawed frogs) because people have recommend these for 2.5g's and if they got that big I wouldn't think that they'd recommend it?

Lovely fish and frogs, Mad Duff! You have beautifully clear water! Like Durbkat said, it looks like it's not even there. A problem I'd love to have!

Are you sure those are ADF's and not ACF's

yes they are ADFs as the front feet are webbed, if they were not webbed they would be ACFs

I can't find B.dario anywhere round here for love nor money
but I do have 5 B.rostrata and the have just as much characture as any other botia,
You'll love haveing them in your tank. Watchout for the sleeping on the back stunt

I think the water only looks that clear because the photos are taken in a 7"x5"x5" show tank.

Durbkat, Yes I'm sure they are ADF's the photo makes them look huge but they're not they have a total body length of 1" each. Cute little guys, The guy I got them off said that I have a male and 3 females.

Oh because in the pic they look to be 3"-5" in length.

Durbkat, Here is a better photo showing the size of the frogs. The bit of the castle ornament that the frog is sat in is about 2".

Wolf, 2 of the Rostrata were sleeping on their backs last night. No matter how many times they do it when see them you allways think the worst for a couple of seconds .

I will have to put the frogs in their own tank because I dont think they like the loaches tasting them to see if they are food .

Yeah but I don't have any bare bottom tanks so thats why it looks different.
