nice tank,like the layout.

not sure about the gravel but thats a personal thing :D

yeah bought it second hand..looks bad.. but dont think i can change it coz all the bacteria thing...anybody got any suggestions

how long has the tank been cycled for?
it is possible to change substrate in a well established tank

i would leave it a few months until your filters matured a bit and your water stats are good and then change but thats my personal viewpoint. :)

I would agree, most of the bacteria are on your filter sponge anyway, so changing the substrate, especially one thats large gravel like this shouldn't be a problem. But yes wait another month or so to get things settled.

I like it I think you`ve done well just the gravel isn`t my favourite I think a more natural looking tank is always better but I haven`t even got a tank yet , I`m hoping to get a Rio 125 do you recommend it ?

good for a starter... thing is when u get home u always wish ud got a bigger one... bit like going to the plastic surgeon

Great tank - I have just purchased a ROI 125

Just wondering how you set-up the spray bubbles?

Thanks

Lovely, It looks like its a older more established tank but the gravel doesnt go with anything else but thats just my personal opinion.
