Hi everyone, im new here and thought id start by posting a few pics of my freshwater aquarium :)

so, without further ado here it is

This is what it used to look like before the re-design
the albino clawed toads/frogs are no longer in there after they ate about 20 of my fish and fry :( i also have 4 turtles (2 musk, 1 ouachita map and a chinese soft shell) so they were fed to the map and soft shelled

any comments/suggestions welcomed :)
i love designing tanks and used to work as display supervisor at Sea Life centres :)

Thanks for the interest, and Hello to everyone!

now thats one of the best set ups I;ve seen on here ina while, stunning, just wish pics were bigger so I could get a better look :good:

oh, do they not work if you click them?

thanks for the comments :) i love aquariums, and i love designing them! :)

thanks :)

the large plant, hmm, sorry i have no idea :(
although i would like to add that in every aquarium, and my LFS, that plant has never grown, until this setup! now it has gone crazy and wont stop! ive split it up so many times now and its always rooted very well and grown so fast! i love them!

oh, i forgot, i made a short vid with my HD camera of my old setup, here it is

Thats pretty much the tank I've always dreamed of having lol I would love a setup like that but Sev and Parrot won't leave the plants alone and somehow my sand started going funny when I had it. Amazing tank though :good: is that the Vision 180 or 260?

its a 180, im looking into getting a tank like i used to have when i lived with my parents years ago.
i had a custom 7ft x 3ft x3ft marine setup.

the garage was us for my animals :) i had 16 aquariums, 6 of which were marine. the other side of the garage had my reptile vivs, ranging from small geckos up to my 6 foot nile monitor and 7 foot iguana :)

oh i wish i didnt have to pay my own bills now cos id still have a crazy amount :)

tank looks great. if you dont mind me saying i actually prefer the tank in the before pics.. lol

i do aswell to be honest, but i needed to change it due to those stupid albino toads eating everything. the only way to get them was to remove everything :(
couldnt catch them at all without making space

Very very nice.
I really like the before setup as well. The rocks in there make it look like a marine setup :D

i think people are confused here lol
