My New Layout

That sounds like a good idea thanks kkaannee, so my new stocking list would be;

12 cardinal tetras
6 glowlight tetras
4 cherry shrimp
2 german blue rams

I assume that it would be best to go for 1 male and 1 female german blue rams and hope that they get on as 2 males fight in the same tank?

I believe that I would be fully stocked after my additions?

Male and female yes, also I wouldnt say you would be fully stocked, but nicely stocked, you could get a few cories in there if you wanted

I would have thought I would have been fully stocked by then but by the sounds of it just not!

I have to be honest and say that I don't like cories that much, I have never owned them but I have seen them and I can't get over excited about them, any other suggestions?

You would probably be stocked for swimming space which is why I said cories as they are bottom dwellers, something along those lines

Are there are other bottom dwellers that are recommended instead of cories?

Although I did do some looking online and saw some gold laser cories which look pretty cool

Even if you don't like the look of corys they would make up for it with their cute behaviour! But I'm probably not to be trusted because I'm biased, I love them!

Well I bought 6 more cardinal tetras to make it up to 12 but unfortunately none of my lfs have any female gbrs which is a bummer. I might have to look around a bit further and see what they have.
