My New Juwel Rio

It really depends..

I have a place where I want to put it, which means it would have to be a normal tank, but there is a 2nd place I am looking at that means it could be bow fronted.

If its bow fronted, does it create more room for moving around it etc..?

Not really, but where mine is it does not cause problems. If it does not cause you any problems where you are going to put it it will come down to taste as my brother in law came to see it, he liked it but he likes the rio, the square one more than the bow fronted.
I think it gives more character to the tank. Are you looking to get the same size as mine,(4FT) 260 ltr?
What about getting a second hand tank...mine has a few scratches on it, but thats a small price to pay for having the tank that really I wanted. These tanks can be so expensive when new, and addictive. The couple I bought this one from new, had it a year and went out and bought the largest bow fronted that Juwel do, the 450...

Try to get the largest you can afford, cause you will be looking for a larger size in the future, and buying second hand allowed me the luxury getting the largest tank I can have...

No room for a 4ft I dont think, maybe a tad smaller. We are just about to have another baby which means more toys out on the floor, more space taken up etc.

So we will just have to see, but I will for sure look up 2nd hands.

Thanks for the tips.
