Thanks for reading! :-

Thanks! Agree regarding the black background. In terms of stocking do you think Im at full capacity? Cheers

Looks nice! Nice to see you got back into the hobby. I would say your fully stocked, just up the number of cories. Can i ask what the plant in the back left is?

I love these tanks, they're ace! I would go with a black background also. Try and add another 3 Cory's at least... This will make your current two very happy indeed. The hatchets are awesome too! I WILL own some of these someday!

Thanks for the kind comments, I'll look into adding a few more Corys and sourcing a black background! And yes the Silver Hatchets are my favorite so far, bags of personality. I've had a small re-shuffle of the tank and added a few plants so will upload the pics shortly.

In regards to the plant back left I'm still trying to locate its name, but I highly recommend it. It's grown nearly 3 inches in a month since its been in the tank, roots everywhere, has also become very bushy. Seems to be thriving and forms a nice backdrop to the tank. No special treatment given.

Haha Schottay you have been caught 'skim-reading' lol!

The plant in the back left looks like Star Grass (heteranthera zosterifolia)

I love this tank, really want that plant in the left corner. Do you use C02 or anything like that? Everything looks so healthy!

Yes I can confirm it is Star Grass, and may flower if the lighting is good enough! Haven't seen it for sale in the lfs since I bought it so seems it can be quite tough stuff to get your hands on. No C02 used just some decent Juwel T5 lighting and the occasional bit of plant fertiliser put in. My tank is quite low PH due to the water around here, that might have an effect on the plant growth but I'm just speculating.

Everything has shot up and I've had a small re-arrange, added some nice pebbles from the beach on holiday in Cyprus. Looking forward to putting a new photo up this evening.

Would anyone be interested in any Star Grass trimmings soon?
