Here they are, nearing the surface just before noticing their first feed...

Sorry the pictures aren't great quality, I need to get a tripod and brush up on my technique!

glad someone else is having a go at keeping
one of the most underated tetras that there is :D

great little fish with lots of personality and a good addition to any community tank :good:

Thanks,

They certainly are active little fellows... always exploring the tank together!

Here's a few more:

And this one is just of the general aquascaping... I may alter this a little yet...

I've got some frozen bloodworms and will see how they go down tonight.

I just noticed your resin mangrove root
do you have any loaches or plan on any loaches in the future?
If so I recomend either filling the root with gravel/sand or blocking the holes with some sponge
this will prevent any loach from getting stuck in there dieing and polluting the tank.

I had several customers in the past with the exact same root and the same scenario.

Cheers The-Wolf,

Thanks for the advice. Happily I don't plan on ever stocking loaches... not to dismiss them out of hand or anything but they don't really take my fancy!

Im gonna mix 3 tetra species. The Hemigrammus rodwayi, above, Cardinals Paracheirodon axelrodi, and Blue Emperors Inpaichthys kerri. I'll then top it off with a couple of Dwarf Gourami (Possibly Flame - but undecided as of yet) Colisa lalia, finally (and yes this would take my fish per inch slightly above the recommended density to 1.2 inch per gallon, but the tank is also slightly overfiltered) I'm planning on having a Peacock Goby Tateurndina ocellicauda to add a little character.

Thanks again!
