My New Guppy Project.....

For many, many moons, I have bred a mixture of Guppies and came up with a strain which I would recognise as my own if I saw them in any pet store..... Now,..... I bought some new blood and I am ready to experiment with enhancing my strain by introducing a yellow and red combination to my black & Blue signature strain...... I think this would be very interesting using the following combinations.....

The Males available:

The females are of the strain like the blue/black males....I will select virgin females to mate with the Yellow and/or red males....

could you make me a black and orange flametail guppy? my flametail guppy must be barking up the wrong tree as all i keep getting is black dragons and cobra fry.

Actually, OM..... I also do not have enough experience/knowledge or patience to play around with genes.... it is more like "pot Luck".....

I chuck them together & see what comes forth..... if it happens to look nice..... I concentrate on those and just get a signature brand rather than a new colour strain.....

I just think (currently) that the yellow and red will fit in nicely to my already established Black/Blue with white darts signature strain.....

I also like the body colours in my strain, (which reminds a lot about endlers)..... I have set aside 5 ladies to get rid of their loads completely, before I introduce my "New" males to them..... That could take another 3 months.......
