Heres a few pics I took today of my 2 new girls
also some people asked me to take pics of the plant pots I said my males loved playing in. I have quite a few, so i can rotate them into my main tank for fertaliser and stronger lighting so some are pictured in my community tank and some in the betta tanks.
This one I made using the cup that one of my males came in (finally found a use for them!)
This one has a much wider mouth so I planted an old anubias in it. Its been growing much better now that noone can disturb its roots
Here is a java moss bed and a java fern currently in one of my boys tanks
and this one is in my other boys tank, it has some smaller stem plants, theres a tiny java fern in the middle back part of the planter but its hard to tell from this pic with all the java moss in there right now
Oh and I've found that this little guy (its a bad pic, sorry) has fallen head over heels for my female betta with the red tail. He swims with her everywhere and I found both of them chilling in one of the clear tunnels together. So far he's been by her side almost all the time, only distracted when a female of his type comes along...I think he may be a bit confused
