whould a shrimp be ok in that tank bearing in mind its a 6 gal nano

I liked ur clowny it looks gr8. What size of tank is it in because it needs a big tank.

Nice clown :good: he's a cutie (I love that grumpy look they always seem to have  )

clowns don't need a big tank  A pair could do absolutely fine in a 10g. (infact my lfs has a pair that have been in a 10g for the past 7 years.)
Seems to be his is in the 6g, which isn't the best size, but for just one clown to me it seems fine.

thanks.
that tank is perfect for him as the rule is 1 inch of fish for every 5 gal.
he is barely an inch.
do you think a cleaner shrimp would be ok in there or is the tank too small

The inch per gallon rule only applies to small, slim bodied fish, btw.

looks great m8

is that an aqua one tank you have??

how hard is it to keep the tank with it being so small, i have small corner 30ltr aqua one tank that i would love make the same as yours.

Kev

to be honest kev its not hard at all aslong as you keep hardy fish.
just get some marine substrate, ph 8.2,salt and some live rock and some water tests (ph test, amonia test and nitrite test you can have fish in the
tank after about a week due to its small size (i think, nemos been brilliant anyway) you also need a hydrometer to measure how much salt is in the water
hardy fish include damsels also. my favorite damsel is a four striped or a three striped the only problem is they like to establish a territory and will take on a fish twice its size to fend it away.
i say go for it but just make sure you do some reaserch before
thats what ive done ive only had marine for about a week and i am still reaserching.
your best bet is to ask someone more experienced than me to get your info as i am only a begginer too
good luck
and yes it is an aqua one tank and mine is 28 liters

are they easy to breed because if i find this easy i might convert my 14 gal into marine.
i have read that if you get them both small and they are both females one will change into a male and vice versa if they are both females.
so where would they lay their eggs

Probably best to ask the marine section.
Ive heard clowns spawning in caves, some types of coral.
