well Ive read the articles,not that I needed to.I knew the parrots were hybrids when I bought them.I also used to own a doberman dog with a docked tail that never bothered me either.different people want and tolerate different things.

I went to an aquatic shop the other day that refused to sell painted fish (they had a sign up) but yet they had 2 huge catfish at least 18long and 2 arrowana the same size in a 4ft tank and that struck me as far worse.Worse still they were doing the old buy 2 discus get one free routine!

You can feed your fish fresh cucumber, zucchini or yellow squash and they will love it! What I do is take the veggie cut the ends off and slice it length wise so I end up with the veggie split open top and bottom, then cut one of the halves into half and rubberband one piece to a largish rock. (Make sure you wash the veggie well before doing this). I also leave the whole thing in there until it is gone as alot of the vitamins are in the skin. It takes them awhile to break it down but they eventually will.

Love your parrots and your tank! I have to say that it sure looks bigger than 4 feet long!! How wide is the tank and how tall? If you give the measurements we can tell you exactly how many gallons it holds which is a good thing to know.
