picked this fella up today whilst at lfs settled in quickly started eating straight away .

Very nice, will really colour up as he gets bigger, lovely fish, I miss mine

cheers hes lovely has already got great colours for his size hes around 3.5 to 4 inches . my camera ( or prob just my photography skills) dont really pick them up too well tho but heres a better pic i just got

looks good Mark, you seem to be building up quite an impressive stocklist there.

Picked up a young Senegal Bichir myself a few days ago, (along with another female Reed fish that didn't even survive 48hours.)

cheers davo yeah im finally getting my tank stocked with the kind of specemins ive been wanting .

i have toyed with birchirs what put me off is ( i may well be wrong) but i believe theyre predatory? was a bit unsure about my corys

Yeah they're predatory and a mature bichir may try to snack on a Cory, but IMO it wouldn't be that likely as in most cases a bichir wouldn't be able to fit a good sized Cory in its mouth,
Mines barely 4inches atm so i should have plenty of time to sort out the stocking before it starts helping itself to anything.

I have a 8+inch senegal birchir and he's so styupid that he wouldnt be able to catch a cory anyhow,

stunning fish mark i just picked up a sexy green terror yday as well from probably the best LFS i have ever seen its called world of water and has the rarest fish for cheap all the rare snakeheads,baramundi,wild true parrot fish and wild snakeheads and then i saw a nice 4" GT for 8 squid so i snagged it he is nice a calm for now settled in and ate some ghost shrimp straight away and he chills with my senegal bichir and green phantom this must be a week for everyone to be gettin some nice fish in

im loving them . when they swimm along the front of the tank the blueish striping along the body really shines . they are almost pearlescent.
