Fish Fanatic
Here it is as is with a few extra decorations I had and the fish it came with.
It had two very nice silver mollies, one not so nice one, and a dalmatian molly. It also has 2 striped raphael catfish, a 7 inch long pleco, and a tiger barb. The pleco went to a friend who has a pond with an algae problem and the tiger barb will be going to a lady who runs a fish sanctuary so he'll have other barbs to school with. I rearranged everybody today so the mollies and barb went to a 10 gallon and the sunset coral dwarf platies and female crowntail betta that were in the 10 gallon went into the 55. I also added a lot of plastic plants and some java moss to help kill the current down to where the dwarf platies and betta like it. The dwarf platies also eat stuff off the java moss.
Here it is after the plants were added.
I plan to aquascape it with live plants eventually but right now it only has about 30 watts of light and really cruddy gravel so improving on that will come first. I'm going to get a glass top for it first, then a compact flourescent strip for more wattage, eco-complete substrate, and a cheap co2 system possibly homemade or just 2 of the small ones I can get at Petsmart. I plan on it being a long term project to be completed over the next six months.
