In there at the moment are 5 hairgrass and 2 amazon sword plants!

might want to shorten the filter intake tube to get it away from the sand a bit. Sand is devastating to filters.

I know but the filter hasnt sucked any up so far, even so how could i make it higher anyway???

oh, i guess im used to powerful filters with larger tanks. If its not sucking any sand up, it should be ok. But a lot of times what will happen is the fish will kick the sand up into the filter tube. Most of them are adjustable, if its not, then just keep an eye out for sand in the filter.

Hey! I just heard on a different forum that you can keep pygmy cories with puffers, the pygmies are so cute and would be perfecto for my small tank , so... is it true i can keep them???

I added another 'amazon sword' sorry i meant java fern:

First some aquatic snails, great food for the puffers and improves thier beaks, also they were free from my other tanks:

Then a pair of ghost shrimp, the smaller of the two should make a meal but the larger is probably too big :

Your tank looks great so far

The jury is still out on cory's with the DP, some people have had success, whilst others have had carnage! I tried my peppered cory's with my DP a couple of weeks back & they were fine, but they didnt seem as happy as in my larger tank, so they are back in there happily swimming round as a pack.

You will need tons more plants than you already have & lots of hidy holes but i'm sure you already know that. I've found smaller terracotta pots are a fave place for them, they look nice with a bit of java fern tied on, they also really love moss balls.
