My Mozambique Mouthbreeder Has Eggs?

I know this is no special achievment with these fish considered like an unwanted minority which is a shame as they are lovely fish with a load of character

I was after a pair for a while and I ended up with 4 babies, I'm surprised they have spawned aready as they are only 3-4 inches long, but the male is all sparkly and attractive and his female of choice has a load of eggs tumbling round in her mouth

I'd like to see the babies survive purley cos I haven't bred anything in ages but do I need to remove female, is the male likely to beat her up etc

from reading about these fish I believe they would breed even if kept in treacle!

the female is still caarrying what looks like eggs. How long till they hatch/?

bummer the eggs hatched friday and now they are gone!!!

this was th first time she'd bred, inexperience or the fact that the tank has other fish in?
