My Juwel Vision 450 main tank, sorry about the particles in the water, this was taken just after breakfast, it usually clears up in 30 mins or so.

2 x 300w Heaters
Fluval fx5
Koralia evo 4000
Philips tropical aquarium purifier

Find the green terror, oscar and arowana a new home, then double the rockwork and add more Lake Malawi mbuna.

Nice tank! Like the Arowana :good:

Thanks, think its a bit slapdash though... Ill see how it turns out.

Thanks for the input, I can understand the thoughts on the Oscar and Aro, but why the GT? He is gorgeous and was only agressive to other GT's and then only after forming a pair with a female. They have spawned a couple of times now, sadly I'll need a fry tank for them to stand a chance.

Because African Rift Lake cichlids do best in very hard water, while SA and Asian fish normally do much better in neutral to soft water. I assume that the tank probably has hard water because of all the rockwork, which would have a negative impact on the oscar, aro and the terror in the long term. Also, the Rift Lake cichlids would benefit from more rockwork and with no open water swimmers, there'd be no reason to not raise it right to the top at the back of the tank.

I used to keep a green terror pair a few years back and I agree that they're lovely fish.. just not for that set-up.

Thanks for the information, they certainly all appear healthy enough, but I wouldnt want to do them any harm.
Looks like I need that larger tank afterall :)

+1 for those reasons.

Not sure the HRP belongs in there either - though that is the nicest and biggest one I have ever seen!!
Also get the Arrowana out asap - they grow huge I saw two of them in a public aquarium near me the other day and they are just a huge fish that very very few people will be able to accomodate.....
