My little long finned oscar has grow , sadly his temprement went bad so he now has to live in a tank on his own. Hope you like

Better now everyone has settled down thanks NObody, and yes that is Rusty.

Bae, I have 5 true parrots now, about 3 weeks after I finally got my first two I had an e-mail asking if I could take another 3 lol

I have just had a trip to my LFS and they had some AWESOME Oscars in...their red was so bright!

This is his new tank as of yesterday, devoid of any plastic plants as he upends everything and the heaviest bit of wood I had to stop him picking it up and hurling it at the glass , He turned so nasty so fast. The juwel filter is in his tank because I always keep it running for any spare mature media

This is a bit better of his fins while he was in his old tank.

What made him change? Just age? What was he in with before?

He grew up with lots of different fish and had the odd lodger or two until they found a home, but he always was with Vinny the red spot severum & seymour the gold, but Vinny was forever picking on Rusty, no damage just shoving him all the time, the one day Rusty shoved back Vinny scarpered behind the log and didnt come out for 2 days, neither would Seymour. I caught them trying to come out to feed and Rusty went for them. So they got moved to an empty tank I had a few months ago, living with a plec & elliotti pair, a small blue acara and the convict x severum, this seemed to work. But the last few days the other fish remained in hiding and when I went to clean out Rusty's tank he went for me, so he got banished to the kitchen (just in case the boys ever put their fingers in his tank). I dare not risk any other fish with him now, he just goes for anything

He sounds like a little monkey...!!! I hope mine doesn't turn out like this. He's in with a gold sev, green sev, a pair of jade eyeds, a plec and a sovelnose.

The trouble with oscars is you never know my other one is fine with other fish, its just the filter pipework he hates lol
