Fish Crazy
The Little Guy built nests of little bubbles in several places in his tank!! And he did, indeed, build them (around) where there was a plant either floating or leaves sticking up out of the water!
At first, I thought they were from the new filter---but I know those patterns from my previous bettas--though I'd never seen such tiny bubbles! He seems so happy! (Me, too)
And he actually dives and surfs on this gently trickling filter....
Thanks to all for the support--helping me hang in there. I don't care if he ever flares...
I'm a little nervous because (happily) my husband and I are going down to FLorida on vacation for a week soon--and I just hate to leave my betta (and the mollies & silly catfish). I've been working with autofeeders--and they all seem to be adjusting well. I've gone away and left some of them with these with mostly good results. I remember returning from my first trip away (1 1/2 wks) from my first betta a few years ago--fearing the worst---and there was that little purple wonder--just swimming around, minding his own business --like we'd never left. I'll just pray and hope for the best!
I guess I'm just a little skittish about leaving the Little Guy or Little One 'cause I just lost Betta Boy a few months before...
I'm still working on remembering how I took pix of the last one and got them on line and will do so soon. (In the mean time, I had to take down Betta Boy's avatar from my postings-It was just too hard to see him all the time!
