My Kribensis

First off, the fish in the previous pictures are CLEARLY male and female. When they put the babies in their mouth its for defense. She doesn't know who/what you are and therefor takes you as a threat. She's not eating them. She's moving them. They don't have hands and have to resort to using their mouth to get them from point A to point B. If they are going to eat them, it'll pretty obvious because you would really need to spook them and she can only hold so many in her mouth, so if she keeps putting them in her mouth then they have to be going somewhere..

Had about 16 fry to begin with.. down to either 4 or 6 :( Don't think they're gonna make it! Feeding with very very very crushed flakes and frozen daphnia.

Well there's 1 fry left around 8mm in length.. But I'm thinking the Kribs will have to go unfortunately.

They've had 3 harlequins for breakfast and are now chasing my keyholes and new blue acara around the tank if they dare come out from behind the filter. This isnt even a small tank, its 3 feet in length and capacity 55G!

So beginning to think that I've been there, done that and its time somebody else had my proven breeding pair!
