So about a week and a half ago I went to big als for the first time I'm my life and it's amazing in there but anyways, I picked up 3 female guppies since I have some males at home and I noticed that there was one guppy with a light neon green tail fin so I decided to get that but later after I bought her I noticed that her tail changes colour very quickly her tail changes to the colours yellow, green, blue, and a bit of purple. Most of the time she stays as yellow and green. Couldn't capture her with the blue and purple tail because she only stays like that for about 2 seconds while moving.

I believe it has to do with the way the light from the tank is hitting her, that is why you only see it for 2 sec. its just the way they are made:)

I tend to agree, I've kept guppies since I started a couple of years ago, and my mum used to breed them once over! They are beautiful little fish and I have a couple who do the same (change colour)

My advice would be to keep the male to female ratio to two/three females to one male and be prepared for babies. They are, in my opinion one of the easiest fish to breed!

Good luck!
