My Husband Is Going To Kill Me!

We just popped into the LFS and they had a fairly decent selection of bettas, and I absolutely fell in love with this tiny little aqua VT. I *must* have him! I have every intention of going back for him once my dear husband goes to work. BUT, before I rush out and purchase this wonderful little angel, I have to ask...would it be safe to keep him with two pea-sized apple snails? I've got a 5 gallon tank up and running and had planned to use it to grow my snails out a bit before I put them in my 26 gallon. Any ideas?

I don't interfere with his video games, so I believe he should let me have 50 aquariums. Totally fair trade off.

Oddly enough since starting aquariums again I have been playing video games less

It was a small miracle just to get him to go into the LFS with me. He *hates* going with me because I have to inspect every single fish in the shop.

I inspect the fish as well nothing wrong with that! (maybe thats why my other half hates going with me to my lfs)

I just made a bargain. He'd promised me a new 10 gallon tank for my birthday in December so that I could keep two dwarf puffers, but I said I'd stick with the three tanks I've got and not get another. This has put him in a rather good mood, so he may not fuss too much when I come home with my new little guy.
