So after taking advice from other members on the forum about my barbs-they have now been rehomed by a really nice man from just down the road who seemed like a fanatic (he has 3 tanks) and he was very knowledgeable. Unfortunately I had to uproot all my plants in order for him to catch them, so then I did a whole water changed, scrubbed the glass and replanted my plants but it just doesn't look right now
The plants aren't sitting right but i'll let them settle and see what it's like tomorrow. The platy have just been put back in, I was waiting for the clarifier to start working, it's still slightly cloudy but it will get clear.
Only one pair of platy in my tank now, they are exploring, they must be thinking to themselves-everytime we go back into this tank it's changed lol. It's looking quite empty now but if any fry survive then they will have space.
