Heres my girlfriends tank that she set up a few weeks ago. when we were shopping for it she wanted a salt water tank, i told her it isnt smart for her to get a salt water tank ( for a couple reasons, this is her first tank, she has no experience, salt water tanks are expensive to set up and the fish are way more expenisve ), so she got freshwater, but made it look like a salt water tank...

with no further adue, here it is

Not to my tastes to be honest.

But if she likes in then that's all that really matters! :)

Well done on convinving her to start with freshwater.

i think a brown paper bag looks better.. but she absolutly adores it... so if she likes it, its her tank, i dont udnerstand why she likes it, but she does...

she said her tank looks better than my tank... i think thats pretty funny...

lol i like sponge bob ive got a garry the snail ornament lol it did actually come with a tank i got but i still kept it hehe :good:

i might dig out a 2ft tank from the shed and do spongebobs village bikini bottom lol

be smart and agree with her

i think its quite nice..but here's my suggestion, more live plants..

Alot of people seem to start out with artificial themed looking tanks without plants and usually ends up turning into a huge natural tank full of live plants. Atleast that's what happened with me.

Too fake, I don't do bright pinks and purples unless we are talking corals in a saltwater tank. I like my tropical and coldwater tanks natural and green.

what car is that in your pic avtar looks like a nice engine bay
