i cant test in 12 hours today as that would be 2am lol

I'd adjust your dosing time to when you can test 12 and 24 hours later... the bacteria won't mind.

yeah gonna dose it at half 9 before i leave and then test it tonight at 10 when im back from work
results this morning are (18hours approx after adding 3ppm ammonia)

nitrite 0

So yesterday i added the ammonia back to 3.5ppm at 9am
i tested it at 10PM and it was 0 ammonia, 0 nitrite.
ITS CYCLED ! XD!!

I tested again this morning to be sure, and its finished.

100% water change and off to the fish shop!

p.s only 1/3 to a half stocking for a month to be sure

I'm glad to hear all that... Normally I would suggest waiting a few days to let the bacs settle in, but if you are only going with 1/3 stocking, you'll be fine!
 
 
As far as getting fish today.... pics or it didn't happen!
