...well ok i tell you, 250-350 gallon bala shark tank with schools of 40-50 something.

1) bought biorb with 6 glofish for feng shui reasons at the insistence of my mother. 2 weeks later i wanted something bigger and better already..
2) due to lack of experience, bought tons of useless crap, air bubble wand/pump, 3x aquaclear 50 hob, 2x heater, 150 bucks worth of silk plants + decor etc. The tank is 50 gallon. Was feeling pretty good about myself and the tank, then i saw some of the amano tanks, and instantly realized how crappy mine looked
3) everything except the tank and stand are scrapped, replaced with eheim pro canister, external inline heater, coralife cf lighting, 2x turbo co2 sys (sugar yeast) - which i regret not getting pressurized. No more fakes! All real plants, rocks are real fossilized wood.
4) did a complete reaquascape, the picture is the result 3 months later. All plants are growing well, still trying to grow the dwarf hairgrass to a carpet, they are the most difficult plant for me to take care of but are slowly spreading. Added 10 tiger barb, 10 gold barb, 4 true sae, 18 nerite snail, 40 cherry red shrimp(which all died 2 hrs after in the tank...sorry beviking)
5) this has become my next goal now, 250-350 gallon very low tech (moss carpet, lucky bamboo forest background with leaves above water/tank, 6 bala shark, 40-50 smaller schooling fish. Maybe it will become a reality after i get a good bonus this year
