My Fish Is Dying!

Okay I have a platy that I've had for almost a year now and he got stuck in my little pottery castle-thing and when I got him out, he was swimming weird, almost like he was doing poorly-controlled pirouettes in the water, and when he landed on the gravel he just laid there panting. Then he'll try again and the same thing happens. What is going on??

How long was he stuck for?

I'm not sure exactly how long because I was at school and fencing yesterday until about 9:00, but he was out at feeding time yesterday (about 6:30 am). Last night when I checked in on them I couldn't find him, but I figured he was hidden by the heater where he likes to hang out or in the log that I can't see inside very well.

Okay I just finished testing he water.
Ammonia=0
Nitrites=0
Ph=normal
He looks fine other than the swimming problems, no injuries or anything that I can see.

He's dead he was one of the first fish I got. He survived an accidental-fish-in cycling that every one of his tank mates didn't (may they RIP) and an outbreak of fin rot.
