My Fish And Axolotl (Pic Heavy Sorry)

Hey every one,
last time I posted pics of my tank was ages ago and I didnt have my little axolotl.
so here are some pic of my tanks which are in my bed room.
Im still young and learning about keeping aquatic pets.

Big tank:
4 x Angels
8 x Mickey mouse platies
2 x Bristle nose catfish

Little tank:
1 x Axolotl

Hope you like and Feed back is REALLY WELCOME I would love to make them look better.

I don't know anything about angels but thought the same too, lol.

How young are you? Nice to see some other "youngsters" on the forum. Though I guess I'm not that young myself anymore...

hey its a 100L tank and one angel hasnt developed like he should of so he is only tiny.
and im 15.

Love the Axolotl, I used to have two as a kid.. had them for 8 or 9 years - great fun to watch them climbing around the tank and the occasional swim.

Very nice, good job! And lovely looking fish. I would be tempted to change the background to black in the main tank to bring out the colours of the plants and fish.

Tanks are looking good mate. Would get a black background on that top tank, will make the plants stand out more! Should of got a 3D background in there .

What is the fish in the seccond tank? Looks rare to me! Must of cost you a fortune!

Well they are known as a tail fish or when visible an axolotl

I think you need to work on your axolotl tank - - more plants and surfaces to climb on.

They are an inquisitive amphibian who like to "explore", climb and crawl under. Even getting a piece of driftwood and that they can climb on and then under would spruce it up a bit. Add a couple of live or silk plants and you will have a happy axie
