My First Super Delta!

Hey everyone. I got my first ever (it was even the first one I've seen in person) super delta today. He is beautiful. They had three of them there, one was yellow, one was some other colors (I don't remember... ) and then this guy. I already have a yellow betta but I didn't have a blue, so I got this guy. Apparently, I didn't really like the other SD...

He even got a big critter keeper. Most of my bettas are kept in 1.5 gallon Rubbermaid containers, because they only cost a little more than two dollars and the fish can see out of them and are happy in them. But I went all out for this guy. I paid $10 for a 1 3/4 gallon critter keeper. So, I hope he likes it!!

Well, here he is. His name is Landon by the way. I named him after the boy character in A Walk To Remember.

Thanks guys!! I love him so much all ready. He is a really happy boy. He's flaring his tail out (he's not actually flaring, just spreading his fins out) all the time. It is so cute!! I'm really glad he was still there when I went back to get him.

what store did you find him at? it's near impossible to find anything other than crowntails and veiltales where i live at petco, petsmart, etc. he's beautiful!!! and i absolutely love that movie.

I just got him at a LFS. It's isn't a big chain store or anything.

All of our Petsmart's and Petco's just have VT and CT also. This LFS was the first one that I've seen anything different...except maybe the pet store in our mall...I think they had deltas one time. But not super deltas.



I am dying for that yellow SD now...but my hubby said no more fish.

At superpet they had halfmoons... but they didn't really look like halfmoons at all :\ so I refrained.

Chrissi, the Super Pet in Oakville on I think Bristol? Has loads of super deltas!!!!!! I went there and nearly bought one until i realized i literally have no where to keep it. But they have so many, and all are gorgeous. When i was there, they had pure black ones even. very nice!!

I will look up the location

Eh... Oakville is a bit far from me, and I am not actually looking to get more bettas.
