My first 'studio' portraits..

The photography group I'm a member of organised a studio photo shoot last night, its my first time working with (admittedly cheap) studio lights and real live people, but it was a great fun experience :)

I know these are all very cheesy, but before you can be creative, you have to be able to do cheese!

This little girl came in with her mother, she had a bad case of meningitis a few months back and was lucky to survive, she was a great little poser!

And this is the daughter of one of the members, she very kindly posed for 12 inexperienced and bumbling amateur photographers but still managed a smile :)

look nice cian. hey, you gotta start somewhere eh? that little girl is just adorable by the way
 
Pictures look great Cian. Did they have to be portrait style where the subject has to be looking at the camera or could you have done it where you only capture certain aspects of them? (maybe not so posed)
