My First Planted Tank

Just wondering what every thought.

48x18x15 using tropica under the gravel, 2 tetra 1200 exterals one outflows via spraybar, other straight down via the hidden heater, Hydor Green NRG CO2 Natural, showing light green on my co2 checker, running 2x 48watt lights on timers.

only problem i had is my blue araca ate my 6 Galaxy rosabara's (in fairness they where tiny less than 1/2 inch) i had araca before but he seemed harmless, but i forgot how nasty chiclids are, hes now been re homed.

1 red tail shark
4 gourami
4 threadfins
10 neons
2 rainbow roseys? (forget there name!)
lobster
red srimp

plants where a starters special for £15, swords,java,fern,comb and some floating frogbit etc etc .. in process of doing some riccia and some java attached to some slate and drift wood.

opinions please, dont hold back either, as i wouldn't! (thats doesn't include noticing the silcone join line i messed up down the center!)

Watch out I had a blue crayfish and he liked to eat the smaller fish or tear up their fins.

Just 1 cm layer of Tropica plant substrate with 4 cm of normal washed gravel ontop.

of ebay.. shop called aquatame or e aquatic discount supplies. also been talking to a guy who hand makes them to how you want. hes shown me some pics of his work and im impressed. his email is.. dandeb315@yahoo.co.uk but i really want to steal the member on here who has a natural form background he said he wanted to get rid off!.
