This is my new girl, Wazzie. I was finally able to get a decent picture of her...I didn't want to use the flash if I couldn't help it. Luckily first picture I took with the flash on was a good one, so I left her be. She's going to be numero uno in my female sorority tank. :D

I'm just curious as to what fin type she is. Anyone have any guesses?

Also...this is going to be the tank, 10 gals with a whisper 10 filter. Going to add some more black gravel to darken up the bottom some more.

:good: Nice looking betta. I love the color. She will be very happy in her bigger tank.

Yes, I just have her in my one gallon bowl at the moment until I can take some media from my male's tank and put it into the new one.

~edit~ I just noticed the picture.....The picture makes her looks more green than she really is. In reality she's a really light blue.

She is a VT, A beutiful one at that  (Beware, and watch her at all times... :shifty: I think I like her a little too much....

Nice tank, and I have had only luck with the Whisper Filter.

she looks like she might have a tiny bit of combtail in her, just really tiny extensions. cute :hyper:

That's what I was thinking - I'll try to get better pictures of her when she's calmed down and not so stressed. I got her to eat a piece of food...Which she immediately spit back up :D. I failed to ask what the store was feeding her...Probably flake food. But, she'll get hungry eventually.

I'm actually starting to get a bit worried....I can't get her to eat regularly. She'll eat a pellet only 1 of 4 times approx. All of the other times she takes the food in, then spits it back up...I'm not sure if the food it too big or what...I use Hikari Betta Bio-Gold pellets which, from what I've heard, are pretty small in comparison to most...How can I get her to eat? Or do you think she's still acclimating to her new environment?
