How long has it been? If you are at about 2 weeks that's not at all uncommon. The only significant speedup would be if you can find mature media from someone.
I know i've not updated this in ages but there was literally nothing happening so it seemed like a waste of everyones time lol.
Anyway my dad has set up a new tank now so i've taken some of the gravel out of the old one and have it suspended in my tank now in an old stocking in the hopes that there will be some bacteria on the gravel and it will kick start my cycle
