Not too shabby...In fact pretty decent for your first ever...If I had to do something with it, i'd add some taller plants and fill up a bit....Any plans for fish yet ? :D

i quite like that especially when the plants grow

hard to see what to change as many will tell you their tanks change so often haha nothing is ever to satisfaction. i must of changed my tanks around millions of time lol

Get some long grassy plants in the background and maybe a bit of bogwood in the middle of the tank, and geta decent bit which would automatically make a hide for any insecure fish.

But really good for your first ever try, good size tank too.

What fish are you going to keep?

Thanks

thanks for the reply guys.
i was thinking of one more piece of wood in the centre of the tank just got to find one.

and can anyone recommened and tall plants.i have one by the filter to cover it a bit not to clear in the pics though.

and not sure on fish yet.

was thinking tetras
Corydoras
Guppy
Harlequin
Tiger Barb

something along those lines.

if you are looking for some silk or plastic plants i could reccomend visiting seapets.co.uk they have a good range of plants some up to 15 inch for the back of your aquarium, or you could try ebay. However real plants look nicer.

Very nice tank. I'd recommend planting some Vallis at the back which will grow to the surface and look good swaying in the filter current. You might wanna also mix something in to the gravel like Laterite that will give the plants the nutrients etc that they need.

Good luck with the fish.

thanks for that funkybodal will have a look for those plants.

i agree. more plants would be good.

Just one Q. though.........is it a cold water set up, as I don't see a heater anywhere?

steve
