My First Aquarium (pirate's Theme) - Pictures!

I like it, Ive seen decorations at my lfs and wal-mart. Keep it up, hope to see the final product.

Well once i get a little extra money, i will be buying some more pirate's stuff... i wanna get a sunken pirates ship, and possibly a skull in a coffin... that would be cool.

You should try to get some weird looking fish to tie in with the tank. Could make it an oddball tank and get some big fish.

Well, here is my first 30 gallon aquarium... I am working on decorating it with a Pirate's Theme... Currently i have 2 decorations in it from "The Pirates of the Caribbean"

This tank is not fully setup yet, so it may look bare at the moment, but i will be getting some fake plants, and a few more decorations for it.
I will post more pictures after it is fully setup.

I also, like your shiney blue background.

Just noticed, is that a tetra power filter? If so you might have to watch your stocking as it doesn't look too big.

It's a older filter.... its a Whisper 20-40.... all i know is it came with the tank when i got it (used).... i'm guessing the 20-40 means its for a 20-40 gallon... right?

a Whisper 20-40 i wouldn't use maybe u could use as a 2nd filter - that be good 2 filters

u what the bigest one u can afford -- more filtation the better

now ur going to hear of all kinds of filters - most cost a small fotune

but a afordable one that never let me down -- 6 yrs

its for 30 -70 gal be great there a sponge on the bottom and room for 2 more cabon on top

easy to clean can make ur own filter bags - can add extra sponge for more bactium growth - great

hey nice themed tank, my boys love it, well done...i have seen the most awesome crocs mouth with bubbles coming out of it it open and closes and we think it wud look pretty cool in your tank, ok so i havnet seen the film but crocs might be in it , wot fish r u planning on?

Ive seen a pirate skeleton that has a jug and it has aeration, making the jug of rum lift up to its mouth. It wouldnt look bad with that setting. What fish do you plain to get.

Thanks for the info on the filter... i just purchased a "Marineland Penguin Bio-Wheel® Aquarium Power Filter".

The one i got is the biggest one they have...
