haha i know i have like no lights were i took it, the flash really messed it up also.

a little idea, i take photos all the time of various things. take the flash off ur camera, turn it off. and use a backlight (if the light in the room isnt great), like a flash light behind the camera about a foot or two (have someone hold it). but from wat i can see, they're pretty.

and cant tell from the pictures, when u get the pictures so the flash/light wont show in the glass of the tank, u can put a mirror up so the fish can see himself and he'll flare up (and take a photo) and i find thats easier to tell what type of tail they have.

Yours are veiltail (VT). My local Petco sells halfmoon bettas, otherwise you'll have to have them shipped. Costs a fortune this time of year since most breeders will only ship overnight because of the cold weather.

I got both mine from Petco.
i live in washington i dont think they sell half moon's here :'(
